Legislative Advocacy

CBC chooses to defend and promote the interests of our industry through legislative advocacy. Our goal is to defend the industry against harmful or costly new laws and regulations while simultaneously promoting positive legislation that would improve and/or benefit our industry and the members that we serve. Creating a positive experience for our membership is CBC's top priority. It is through this participation that we are able to be a voice for our members.

How Does CBC Participate?

CBC is an advocate for credit unions. Our top priority is providing our members with excellent service, convenience, competitive rates and low fees. Through participation in legislative advocacy we are able to protect and serve your financial well-being as well as the welfare of the credit union industry as a whole.
