Our Community
CBC Federal Credit Union proudly supports activities and events for youth surrounding our Ventura County branch locations. We regularly share in the sponsorship of academic and athletic programs of local students, youth projects through United Way of Ventura County, and initiatives with the Boys & Girls Club.
Sponsorship Guidelines
CBC Federal Credit Union accepts sponsorship requests from community organizations in Ventura County. Requests are evaluated according to the following guidelines:
- Consideration is given to local civic, charitable or educational organizations within CBC's charter area (Ventura County)
- Organizations should provide a benefit to the greater Oxnard, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Ventura, Thousand Oaks or Naval Base Ventura County communities or to CBC's membership base
- Organizations, events or programs should be aligned with CBC's community outreach and values
- Sponsorship availability is limited and is not automatically renewed from year to year
- CBC will generally not contribute to individuals, church or religious organizations, political/partisan endorsements, classroom field trips, beauty pageants, recreational sport programs or fundraising campaigns
- CBC generally contributes to one event per organization within the same calendar year
- CBC branches must maintain design and signage guidelines which generally prohibit businesses or other organizations from placing signage or conducting charitable drives at CBC branches
