Share Secured
If you have money on deposit but don't want to tap into it, you can pledge your shares as collateral to lower your loan rate. You can borrow up to 100% of your share account balance, but keep in mind that you will need to keep a share balance equivalent to the loan balance until the loan is paid off.
Certificate Secured
Certificate-secured loans use a term share certificate as collateral and work much the same way as share-secured loans. You can borrow up to 90% of the certificate account balance and the maximum term must be equal to or less than the certificate maturity date.
