We have been made aware of a text message that some members have received. These fraudulent text messages are not coming from CBC. None of CBC’s systems or data have been compromised. 

Remember, CBC will NEVER contact you and ask you to reset your online banking password or for personal information like your:

  • Debit/Credit Card information
  • PIN number
  • Online Banking Username and/or Password
  • Account Number 

DO NOT give out this information to anyone, even if someone claiming to be a CBC representative asks for it over the phone.

In order to protect our membership, we are taking some additional security measures.

  • EasyPay person to person payments will be unavailable for the time being.
  • Any external account transfers will be delayed due to extra verifications that will take place.
